Theodore “Ted” Miller’s obsession with writing began at an early age. Way back in the eighth grade, he wrote a play, All that Glitters. The play was performed locally and aired on a San Rafael, California radio station. Ted was hooked.
Fueling his exploits as an author, Ted has worn many hats during his adventurous life.
He served his nation as a United States Marine, nearly froze to death working on the Alaska pipeline, and reached great heights as a steel painter, literally and figuratively, working on everything from aircraft carriers to nuclear power plants to standing atop the towers of the Golden Gate bridge overlooking the San Francisco bay.
In recent years, Ted won a long battle with cancer, cared for and his soul mate as she moved on, and found himself presented with a choice when the COVID 19 lockdown hit: Surrender to age and life’s trials, while slowly winding down a life in retirement? Or continue the adventure?
Ted threw himself into writing for all he’s worth and his recent novel, The Butcher of Bonner Lane, is the result.
“Butcher” is a literary mystery novel set in the turbulent times of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, and Ted’s adventurous spirit is clearly evident in its pages.
